Already been adapted into animated shorts, several video games, a board game, and a surprisingly faithful series of Mountain Dew commercials, Spy vs. Spy may finally get its long gestating movie adaptation. Because it’s 2020, and what’s hotter than a Mad Magazine comic?
According to Collider, Dodgeball and Central Intelligence writer-director Rawson Marshall Thurber is in talks to head up Warner Bros.’ take on the long-running property. It’s said the adaptation will be live-action, so get ready to see some freakishly pointed faces and their haunting, stygian sclerae in the flesh. Old Sonic is going to look like a dream.
