Steven Soderbergh put together a hell of a cast for his latest, No Sudden Move

For the first time in perhaps decades, it is time to say, “I would like to see that Brendan Fraser movie.”

That movie? No Sudden Move, Steven Soderbergh’s upcoming crime thriller from Bill & Ted and Men in Black writer Ed Solomon. Soderbergh reportedly just began production on the film, with Fraser joining an unusual but exciting ensemble that features Don Cheadle, Jon Hamm, Ray Liotta, Benicio del Toro, David Harbour, Kieran Culkin, Amy Seimetz, Noah Jupe, Bill Duke, Frankie Shaw, and Julia Fox. Cheadle’s Ocean’s Eleven B-squad is certainly intriguing.

Set in 1955 Detroit, the film sees a team of small-time crooks hired for what seems like a simple job. When their heist goes bust, they journey through the race-embattled city to figure out who hired them and why. Likewise, that is also what Brendan Fraser is trying to sort out.
