As revealed in a previous Marvel short, during the events of Captain America: Civil War, Thor was apparently in Australia and hanging with his new roommate, Darryl. As revealed in a brand new Marvel short: turns out, he was doing the same thing during Doctor Strange.
Both films are directed by What We Do in the Shadows and Hunt for the Wilderpeople‘s Taika Waititi, and if they’re any indication of what he’s doing helming Thor: Ragnarok, it would seem we may indeed have a long-rumored Thor-Hulk buddy comedy on our hands. Just more evidence that, instead of going dark, Warner’s DC universe should honestly be heading the other way with their own Golden Girls.
