Those enablers over at Netflix have just unveiled the television bender they plan to make us blow the weekend on. It’s The OA, a new series from The East team of director Zal Batmanglij and co-writer/star Brit Marling.
The eight-episode tale is described as “a powerful, mind-bending tale about identity, human connection and the borders between life and death.” Beyond that, all that’s really made more apparent in this trailer is that it’s beautifully shot and is not a prequel to The OC. Oh, and you can already watch the entire series starting Friday. Get to it quick, before someone spoils if it’s pronounced The Oa, The O.A. or what.
