Tron: Leto has a director

Bringing us one step closer to the scientific dream of shoving Jared Leto into a computer, Disney has attached a director to their long-planned followup to Tron: Legacy.

According to Deadline, the job has gone to Garth Davis, the director whose Lion was nominated for Best Picture. He’s not exactly known for big-budget, blockbusters, but it’s said he aggressively pursued the gig. Leto has been attached to star in the new Tron since 2017, but despite Oddly, though, while a lead and director are now attached, it’s said the film doesn’t actually have a greenlight. Nobody’s making shit until we hear from the Daft Punk boys and Jeff Bridges’ disgusting CGI face.
