HBO just dropped a Deuce tease, giving us a whiff of what’s to come when they dump the rest of it on us this fall. The Deuce is the latest effort to emerge from The Wire creator David Simon, who last popped out the warmly-received, solid but slim Show Me a Hero. So have a peak at The Deuce. If you can stand to look closely (given its dirty subject matter), you’ll notice some recognizable elements in there—including James Franco, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and even some loose bits from The Wire (hey, it’s D!). The first Deuce hits September 10.
