Some of the folks behind Wet Hot American Summer are going to resurrect the spirit of the ’80s series The Love Boat in the most entertainingly idiotic fashion possible: by taking it to space.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, TBS has started development on Moon Cruise, a half-hour, single-camera series created by and starring Michael Ian Black. His wet, hot cohorts Michael Showalter, David Wain, and Jonathan Stern are producing the comedy, which is so far only being described as “The Love Boat but set in space.” It worked for The Leprechaun, right?
