Patty Jenkins, the director who made the first DC Extended Universe entry that wasn’t terrible, is coming back to that mostly-awful cinematic world. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jenkins has finally signed on to direct, co-write, and produce a sequel to her runaway hit, Wonder Woman. And thanks to that film’s blockbuster success, the long-in-the-making deal with Warner Bros. will make Jenkins the highest paid female director to date. Though, to be fair, that factoid doesn’t factor in the payout Jane Campion got on The Piano action figures.
