‘Wreck-It Ralph 2’ Draws Inspiration from Apps, Kim Kardashian’s Oiled Backside

Today at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Walt Disney Animation Studios announced the title for their Wreck-It Ralph sequel. It’s Ralph Breaks the Internet—seemingly unrelated to Kim Kardashian’s famous “Break the Internet” photos, except in that this too will focus on someone who’s noticeably disproportionate. The studio also released the film’s logo, seen above styled as an iOS app button. If it wasn’t clear, both the title and logo are hints to the film’s new and expanded setting: THE INTERNET, the infinite digital horizon where when Ralph says he’s “gonna wreck it,” he’ll be flooded with graphic pornography. And we’ll presumably get to see all that when Ralph Breaks the Internet hits theaters March 9, 2018.
