Another name has been plucked from the bucket hat of every ’90s series still yet to be revived. Disney+ has just announced X-Men ’97, an animated series set to continue the Fox Kids cartoon that ended its five-year run in that year. Beau DeMayo, writer of Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, is heading up the project. Sadly, fans will have to wait until 2023 to see that the show’s animation, like their own bodies, has aged horribly.
