More than a decade since Guttenberg himself brought news of returning to the Three Men and a Baby franchise with Three Men and a Bride, Disney today made explicit that they’ve decided to go in a different direction. The Hollywood Reporter brings word that now the studio is going to do a Disney+ remake of the 1987 comedy Three Men and a Baby (itself a remake of Trois hommes et un couffin).
Zac Efron is attached to play one of three bachelors whose life is upended by the arrival of an infant one of them conceived in a fling with an actress. Sadly, neither of the other two leads is expected to be Steve Guttenberg. Gone… but not forgutten.
