Robert Rodriguez and whatever remains of Frank Miller’s brain and body are set to bring Sin City to the small screen. The more-or-less two are reaching deals with Lionsgate Television that would bring them on as executive producers on a Sin City series that would bring their cheap-to-shoot green-screened realization of the comic books to life again, for even cheaper. Miller is reportedly also in talks to separately makes a prequel as “a hard-R animated series”—a treat for anyone hoping the comics icon could finally negate his noir hit by turning it into a misguided, right-wing shit-show.
