Wonder Woman 1984 bumped to 2020, Bionic Mark Wahlberg program on hold

We’ll be waiting a bit longer to see Wonder Woman in the era of Webster. Warner Bros. has officially pushed the release of Wonder Woman 1984 back seven months. Previously scheduled for a release next November, the superhero sequel will now not hit theaters until June 5, 2020. That date was previously occupied by the studio’s Six Million Dollar Man adaptation, a reboot that will update the bionic man to cost six billion dollars—plus Mark Wahlberg’s acting paycheck. Wahlberg remains attached to star, but without a director announced (Peter Berg was supposedly attached when this was announced four years ago), The Six Billion Dollar Man is off the calendar altogether. It’s a sad day for Mark Wahlberg cybernetic science.
