Based on the real-life notoriety of New Jersey’s notorious Action Park amusement park—and based in the real-life schtick the Jackass crew has been peddling for the last two decades—Action Point sees Johnny Knoxville and Chris Pontius reuniting for some more old man makeup and hazardous slapstick. Knoxville stars as his latest dirty grandpa iteration, an elderly guy who reflects on running the eponymous park. Through flashbacks, we see Action Point’s outrageously run-down, dangerous attractions, and, naturally, Knoxville and his crew pull some crazy stunts on them (and with some undeserving wildlife).
This episode of Jackass will be stretched across a strained underdog narrative when Action Point hits theaters June 1.
