Disney and Lucasfilm have just released a new poster for the Dolby Cinema release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. And it’s not bad, except that it’s basically a vastly less stylish rip-off of some fan posters illustrator Andy Helms made about a decade ago:
Whoops!
Whether it’s parallel thinking or more direct theft, it really doesn’t hold up by comparison. Please do better stealing for the inevitable Episode X, Disney.
