With the first trailer for Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch due out Wednesday, Searchlight has just released this new, very New Yorker cover-esque poster for the film. Not that it isn’t just as extremely Wes Anderson-y: we’ve got the film’s lead ensemble, each in their own distinctive costume, laid out as a tableau reminiscent of Zissou’s bisected boat and the window business of the Tenenbaum home. And, as usual, someone’s casually soaking in a bath.
We’ll see what other tropes we can hit on our charmingly fanciful bingo cards tomorrow.
