Former Josh & Drake star Josh Peck has found his latest two-hander comedy series from which only he will emerge a star. He’s reportedly signed on to lead Turner & Hooch, Disney+’s series reboot of the 1989 Tom Hanks comedy that no one has thought about for 30 years.
While Hanks’s Scott Turner was a police detective, it’s said Peck’s has gone federal as a U.S. Marshal. Despite the minor career change, he will still be inheriting a very large, slobbering dog that becomes his investigative partner. There will, at Disney’s current order, be 12 episodes of that.
We can only pray Drake gets the call whenever Quibi starts work on a Every Which Way but Loose reboot.
