Just a month since racking up some solid but ultimately meaningless numbers for Netflix with the already-forgotten Murder Mystery, Adam Sandler has lined up another set of victims.
Deadline reports that Sandler’s latest Netflix venture will include the only occasionally surprising likes of: Kevin James, Julie Bowen, Maya Rudolph, Ray Liotta, Steve Buscemi, Rob Schneider, Michael Chiklis, Kenan Thompson, Tim Meadows, Colin Quinn, June Squibb, George Wallace, Melissa Villaseñor, and, yes, Shaq.
It’s said the plot of this yet-untitled comedy sees Sandler as Hubie Dubois, a man whose name alone threatens that the star may do his Cajun accent again. Dubois is apparently a figure of scorn in his hometown of Salem, Massachusetts, but becomes a hero when their Halloween celebration goes supernaturally sour.
So there’s the razor blade to look out for in the massive haul of content Netflix brings home next Halloween.
