Could we ever have too many Paul Rudds? It seems absolutely insane to even ask, but that’s the thesis of the new series from The Daily Show producer and Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas writer Timothy Greenberg, Living with Yourself.
The Netflix miniseries takes a very Charlie Kaufman-esque premise and goes broader and more The Prestige-y with it. Rudd stars as a depressed man who goes to a small spa in the hopes of becoming happy. It works, but the process seems to have bisected him, leaving his depressive other half literally in a grave—though one that he quickly escapes from.
NOW WHAT???
So we’ll learn in this dark comedy about what it means to truly be a human, and also be Paul Rudd. This Ruddream hits Netflix October 18.
