A modern-day take on Oliver Twist is headed to screens, and as part of that modernized take, now everyone isn’t a dude.
Variety reports that Sky is working on a new take on the Dickens classic that will see Lena Headey in the role of Bill Sikes and Rita Ora as the Artful Dodger. Not to make this an entirely sex-swapped affair, Michael Caine will play Fagin and Twist will be played by Raff Law, the celebrity scion that looks like a young Jude Law playing an absolute piece of shit chav.
It’s not yet clear if this updated Twist or this new model Law will actually arrive stateside
