And for as many Peter Pan adaptations as there have been (it’s somehow only been four years since that year where we got both Joe Wright’s forgettable Pan and NBC’s laughable Peter Pan Live!), that it is exactly that makes a pretty compelling case for returning to that magical land where public domain intellectual property remains forever young and franchise viable.
