COVID-19 has finally hit the spice industry: the release of Denis Villeneuve’s Dune has been pushed back. The news isn’t particularly surprising—it’s hard to find a tentpole picture that hasn’t been bumped multiple times since this bullshit started—but the length of the delay may be. Originally set to arrive this December, Dune will now (probably) hit theaters in a year. Warner Bros. is now reportedly dating it for October 1, 2021. In the meantime, continue to emulate the new Dune by isolating yourself, popping on a facial apparatus, and moping around our hellish, political turmoil-filled wasteland.
