Fifteen years since giving us The Host, Bong Joon-ho is finally returning to the theme of “check out this awful-looking asshole from the sea.”
According to Seoul’s Yonhap News Agency, the Oscar-winning Parasite director has been working on a computer-animated film “about mankind and deepwater creatures,” our natural enemies.
Though Bong has been working on the project since 2018, it’s expected that he’ll get a new English-language, live-action feature on screens before we’ll see any of these animated fish with weird lights and godawful teeth and whatever fucked up shit going on.
