The Knives Out sequel is presumably going to have a big cast with some big names, so get ready for endless updates on that for a while.
Dave Bautista and Edward Norton already joined the film earlier this week, and now we’ve got another suspect in Rian Johnson’s murder mystery: Janelle Monáe. She’ll reportedly re-team with her SNL host Norton to be grilled by Daniel Craig in the whodunit.
Again, Netflix has given this movie and its follow-up sequel have been given a joint budget of over $450 million against the original’s $40 million, so they may as well pay her to also do a Knives Out theme song and music video with a CGI alien like with Men in Black. You’ve got the cash, Johnson; let’s have some fun with this.
