With networks increasingly getting into the streaming game, Netflix seems intent on one-upping them with their own shitty basic cable-style offerings. Just yesterday we got a trailer for the company’s absolutely Lifetime Original Movie-looking garbage, Secret Obsession, and now we’re getting a glimpse at what seems to be their Syfy-style trash, Another Life.
Here’s the trailer for the series, which sees Battlestar Galactica’s Katee Sackhoff headed off on an interstellar mission to an alien world that recently dropped an odd artifact off on Earth; Justin Chatwin co-stars as her husband, who stays behind on his own mission to investigate the mysterious item. Such is the rabid nepotism of extraterrestrial shit research.
Another Life hits Netflix July 25.
