Though no one even answers their phone anymore, the call for another Black Christmas remake has nonetheless come through—and IT’S COMING FROM INSIDE THE BLUMHOUSE!
The budget horror production company has reportedly teamed with Universal for a new take on the seminal slasher holiday film. Always Shine director Sophia Takal is already signed to direct and co-write with April Wolfe, and Imogen Poots, Aleyse Shannon, Brittany O’Grady, Lily Donoghue, and Caleb Eberhardt are set to star.
First directed by A Christmas Story’s Bob Clark in 1974, and already remade in 2006, Black Christmas focused on a sorority’s yuletide survival against an obscene phone caller/murderer. Maybe now he could just send some dick pics with a knife for scale?
