Captain America’s latest adventure in sorting out some problems in the past takes him to 1981, when he still had his cool beard and was an agent of not S.H.I.E.L.D. but Mossad.
In The Red Sea Diving Resort, Chris Evans plays agent Ari Levinson, who—with the help of Michael K. Williams, Ben Kingsley, Greg Kinnear, Haley Bennett, Michiel Huisman, and Alessandro Nivola—is trying to evacuate Jewish Ethiopians out of Sudan and into Israel. The plan involves using a resort as a front (maybe the Sudanese armies will just think it’s another Best Exotic Marigold Hotel sequel…?) and having Evans looks very concerned in just about every shot.
It can’t be any worse than Machine Gun Preacher, but unfortunately, with this first trailer you can kinnnnda see why it’s headed straight to Netflix. It arrives there July 31.
