David Fincher is back with his Seven writer for a Fassbender neo-noir

Remember how David Fincher almost directed Michael Fassbender, but then Sony wouldn’t pay him enough for Steve Jobs? And, hey, remember Seven? Well, Fincher is circling back around to both.

The director is reportedly re-teaming with Seven writer Andrew Kevin Walker for an adaptation of the graphic novel The Killer, with Fassbender in talks to star. The story focuses on an assassin who, while waiting days for his latest target, has a crisis of conscience. Turns out, murderin’ may not be all that moral. Or maybe it’s fine! We’ll have to wait and see.
