The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is headed back to the small screen

The industry still unwilling to throw in the towel on The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy adaptations, the iconic Douglas Adams tale is once again headed to the screen. This time, Hulu is reportedly giving it a shot, with Carlton Cuse (E.P. on Lost, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Lock & Key, and others) and Jason Fuchs (writer of Pan and I Still See You) set to be showrunners on a new series based on the radio-show-turned-book-franchise.

It’s said this will be “a modern updating of the classic story.” So now the planned demolition of Earth will be a well-earned, highly-anticipated delight.
