Apparently as exhausted as we all are with their outpouring of Star Warses, Marvel movies, and remakes of classic films, Disney is finally trying something new. It’s some kind of movie about knights.
Deadline reports the studio is at work on a film simply called Knights, a family adventure to “follow a headstrong young woman who joins a knight on his quest to destroy a world-threatening artifact before it falls into the wrong hands.”
In summary: a stoic master and his young protégé will embark on a journey to get some utterly vague MacGuffin from some bad guys. And somehow that is currently Disney’s most original property.
