Sunday night was Hollywood’s biggest night of the year: their seated prom! Yes, it was the 95th Academy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and the echo of a slap we’re still hearing a year later.
Two Encino Man stars who left the limelight for years won Oscars, and the awards were dominated by a movie where a woman gets hot dogs for fingers, so that was interesting. Wouldn’t have seen that coming a year or two back, huh? Would have bet the farm on the period piece about the magic of making movies, or the period piece about the magic of making movies specifically from the perspective of Steven Spielberg. Go figure.
