Before the X-Men get pulled into the warm, all-consuming embrace of Disney and its subsidiaries, 20th Century Fox has one more super-mutant story for us: the same one they already screwed up in X-Men: The Last Stand. Dark Phoeni⨂ sees Professor X, Magneto, and their bevy of blue freaks back together as they learn that if they can’t handle a fiery Jean Grey at her birdst, they don’t deserve her at her best.
Sticking with their Deadpool counter-programming strategy, Fox drops their last X-Men into theaters on Valentine’s Day.
