As in so many of his franchise’s set-pieces, Spider-Man has again managed to hold a couple opposing forces together.
Though it was reported a month ago that Marvel and Sony had reached an impasse in sharing Peter Parker between them, now the studios have apparently worked out a deal to keep things going for at least another couple films. It’s said that the agreement will keep Marvel president Kevin Feige shepherding a Far from Home sequel while also putting Spider-Man in at least one more Marvel Cinematic Universe entry, wherein Feige could try to bitterly kill him off.
Still, though: isn’t it heartwarming when a couple mega-conglomerates can forget their differences and come together to make another billion or two?
