Frequent biopic-maker Ron Howard has found his latest real-life subject to dramatize with his signature unremarkable competence.
In lieu of giving us a sequel to 2011’s The Dilemma, the director has reportedly signed on to direct Paramount’s The Fixer. It’s said the film “tells the true story of a disgraced FBI agent who, at the height of the Cold War, is tapped by the CIA to lead a ragtag team of CIA operatives and Chicago mobsters on an unlikely mission to try to assassinate Fidel Castro.” Finally, Howard will have his staid, unfulfilling Inglourious Basterds.
