As punishment for our poor handling of the ongoing pandemic, the United States will now be one of the last countries to learn the secret of how John David Washington sucks his bullets back into his pistol.
Warner Bros. has announced that Tenet will now be released on August 26 in over 70 countries—and the US isn’t one of them. It won’t arrive domestically until September 3, and even then it will only be in select cities that likely won’t include major markets like New York and LA. Of course, the studio only eased up on their attempted August 12 release a week ago, so the date may again shift when it’s inevitably still a shitshow next month.
Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Holland, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Italy, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom will be the first to see Christopher Nolan’s latest, and they are going to spoil that Robert Pattinson plays the Time Warlock, and how that is the only explanation ever given for the film’s high-concept premise.
