The Transformers franchise gets its latest AI-generated title

The Transformers series has thus far seen sequels subtitled Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon, Age of Extinction, and The Last Knight. They’re all weirdly obtuse, rote nonsense that seems to have been generated through machine learning—and it looks like the seventh film in the franchise will continue that all-too-apt tradition.

After looking into the matter, we can now confirm both that there somehow is not a “Rise of the” title in there and that the franchise will very soon amend that. The series follow-up to the surprisingly okay Bumblebee has officially been titled Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.

As its name implies, the sequel will add in more robo-fauna, with new sects of robots (Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons, you dorks) now turning into animals and dragons and whatever. Yet one must ask themselves: Are the real beasts the robots that turns into an apes… or the men who keep making these things?
