Wes Anderson’s latest has a new release date, synopsis, and subtitle

The first poster from Wes Anderson’s latest, The French Dispatch, brings with it a few new bits of information.

Firstly: We’ve long known Benicio del Toro was in this, but apparently he’s the lead? How about that.

Secondly, this synopsis: “The French Dispatch brings to life a collection of stories from the final issue of an American magazine published in a fictional 20th-century French city.”

Thirdly, a subtitle: of the Liberty, Kansas Evening Sun.

And, finally, a release date: July 24.

Otherwise, it’s just a gross yellow, an ugly pattern, and some text, but still: we’re pretty excited for a new Wessy.
