For the first time since Kimmy Schmidt’s deranged Disney fantasy sequence, the creators of 30 Rock are diving into animation territory.
Tina Fey and Robert Carlock have reportedly made a 20-episode deal with Netflix for the cartoon series Mulligan. Created by Carlock and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt‘s Sam Means, with both serving as executive producers alongside Fey, the series is said to focus on mankind having a do-over (a mulligan; get it?) of society after an alien attack has decimated Earth. But can we get it right this time? Or, like the last time aliens decimated Earth, will we just end up making a bunch more Will Smith movies?
