
Good news for the little Sicario-loving Dora the Explorer fan in your life. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Benicio del Toro has signed on to the cast of Paramount’s live-action Dora. The Usual Suspect will reportedly return to crime as the voice of Swiper, a thieving fox and the film’s main antagonist.
Isabela Moner is signed on for the title role, playing a teenage Dora said to go on a Goonies-style adventure with a group of friends and her pet monkey, Boots. Michael Peña and Eva Longoria play the parents the teens and simian are trying to save.
Director James Bobin already wrapped production two weeks ago, so now del Toro just has to read his lines. But as we know, sometimes that can take him a while…
