Good news for any preschool-age fans of “Kill Yourself.” According to Deadline, the comedian turned writer-director is getting back to his songwriting roots for the recently announced Sesame Street movie. Anne Hathaway is set to join Big Bird and friends in belting Burnham’s tunes out; she’s starring as “Sally Hawthorne, a plucky history-show host who’s on a quest to save her program and prove that Sesame Street actually exists.” The villain is said to be New York City’s mayor, who in this fictional universe is a jerk wasting his time covering up Sesame Street, rather than a twat wasting his time on a laughable presidential bid.
