Showing the kind of unrepentant recidivism so often seen in the pedophile scum he throws in prison, Christopher Meloni is headed back to the world of Law & Order.
Deadline reports that NBC has given a 13 episode order to a new Dick Wolf-produced series centered on Meloni’s former SVU co-lead, Elliot Stabler. In the spin-off, Stabler, last seen in 2011’s season 12 finale, will be heading up an NYPD unit focused on organized crime. SVU also recently received a three-year renewal, so start placing your bets on how many episodes in we get before the inevitable crossover event to stop the Russian mob’s human trafficking. The correct bet is straight out of the gate in the first episode, right?
