Three years since it was first announced, the utterly superfluous Die Hard: Year One is said to now have a completed script, ready for Bruce Willis to bother acting even less than usual in. It’s said the screenplay is split between seeing John McClane at ages 60 and in his 20s, and to better reflect this dual-era and completely unnecessary tale of Willis past and present, the film now has an updated title.
Speaking to Empire, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura revealed, “The title page we handed in says McClane.”
