Dr. Death and Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol trailers bring more broadcast quality to Peacock streaming

Peacock has just released trailers for two new thriller series, firmly recommitting to their brand being “NBC overflow.”

First, we’ve got Dr. Death, based on the true story of a neurosurgeon who started maiming and killing his patients. It stars Joshua Jackson, Christian Slater, and Alec Baldwin—because of course it would.

Second, we have Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol, the latest effort to transport The Da Vinci Code’s Robert Langdon from the airport bookstore to the screen. A prequel to the Langdon films, this adaptation sees Ashley Zukerman take over the lead. Trying to replace Tom Hanks is already an unenviable task, but it’s made worse by the fact that Zukerman has a lisp and they make him say “symbol” about a dozen times in this trailer alone. Absolutely brutal. Eddie Izzard’s ponytail is generous by comparison.

Anyway… those both sure are TV Shows!
