Mash-up trailers haven’t been much of a thing for a while now, but if they’re coming back, this isn’t a bad way to start.
With Baby Podracer, YouTuber Carnage-Boy has managed to steer the trailer audio from Baby Driver into the visuals of The Phantom Menace, turning the maligned prequel into a music-driven, podrace-heavy crime film. It also gives Nute Gunray the voice of Jamie Foxx, which honestly kind of works. If George Lucas ever decides he needs to do some more special editions, that should 100% become canon.
Why did Carnage-Boy chose these films over, say, 1911 and SpongeBob SquarePants, you ask? Well, shut up, because he did that combo also:
