Two years since the release of I, Tonya, Netflix has its less factual and far more melodramatic answer with Spinning Out.
Seemingly left to freeze on the ice by The CW, the figure skating series sees Skins and Maze Runner actress Kaya Scodelario as a rising skater struggling to recover after a bad fall that left her clunked in the head. Also, she has a VERY SEXY love triangle going on between the nice guy skater and her new skating partner, who is apparently the BAD BOY of figure doubles. Adding to the drama is rightly pigeonholed emotionless mother January Jones and actual figure skater Johnny Weir, who has nothing if not a flair for the dramatic.
