Titled like a Bond parody, Moonfall is rather Roland Emmerich getting back to his bullshit.
The writer-director behind Independence Day, Independence Day: Resurgence, The Day After Tomorrow, and 2012 has returned with his latest collection of CGI, outsider scientists, and impending global apocalypse. This time, it’s that something happened, and now the moon is going to crash into Earth. Astronaut Halle Berry has a plan—but only fellow astronaut Patrick Wilson and a conspiracy theorist (Sam from Game of Thrones) believe in it! Looks like they’re off to space to fight the moon or whatever.
The moon will attack mankind and theaters on February 4.
