If you’ve been waiting 30 years for a sequel to the most poorly-reviewed, not-all-that-profitable children’s Halloween comedy of 1993—and, yes, we’re all too aware this audience does, in fact, exist—you’re in luck! Hocus Pocus 2 has been made, and here’s its first teaser.
Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy reprise their roles as the witches. Sadly, Thora Birch is no longer one of the kids. Such are the blows you take when you do one of these things again. Be thankful it isn’t a theatrical reboot with Jennifer Hudson, Kaley Cuoco, and Beanie Feldstein. That will be in 2025.
