It was announced today that You’s Jenna Ortega has nabbed the lead role in Netflix’s Wednesday, the Tim Burton-directed series that will split up the Addams family unit to focus on its daughter. Ortega will be not only the first Latina Wednesday; she will reportedly also be the first Wednesday who has psychic powers and now wants to stop a monstrous killing spree instead of starting one. So that is respectively cool and unfortunate for her.
