Following in the sneakered footsteps of The Social Network and Steve Jobs, Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber is the latest bit of entertainment devoted to a tech billionaire being a real piece of crap. Showtime’s anthology series is set to spend each season dissecting a major modern business “disruptor,” the first episodes obviously looking at ride-hailing pioneer Uber and its co-founder, Travis Kalanick. Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as the ousted CEO, a man that is such garbage that he was bad even by Silicon Valley turd standards. Bad enough that almost the entirety of Uber’s Wikipedia entry is devoted to “criticism” and “controversies.” Impressive, honestly.
You can see just how he pulled off this much bullshit when Super Pumped premieres February 27.
