Kenneth Branagh Investigates Train Corpse in First ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ Trailer

Already adapted into a well-received 1974 film and multiple TV movies, Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express is headed to the screen again, now with a mustache befitting today’s advanced hirsute technologies. Kenneth Branagh, returning to his beloved genre of “classic Brit-lit plus Branagh,” stars as famed Belgian investigator Hercule Poirot. Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Willem Dafoe, Penélope Cruz, Daisy Ridley, Judi Dench, Josh Gad, Leslie Odom Jr., and Olivia Colman are among the stars filling out the rest of the train car. Here’s the first trailer, featuring the music of Imagine Dragons—just as Christie always intended.
